...The first was a bit naff apparently. I never got around to seeing it and probably wont see this one either.

Perhaps when they appear on Sky Movies......maybe :)

I liked the first and I intend to see this one, but after enjoying the first my partner doesn't want to see this as "it looks stupid".

Just looks more of the same to me, which if entertaining, puts it one up on Matrix Reloaded.

Jeepers Creepers split audiences. Some loved it, many hated it. Whether you like it or not you know the first 30 mins of atmosphere were pretty much p155ed into the wind halfway through. Question was whether you could stick with the film after that point or not. Many said "not". I love monster flicks and thoroughly enjoyed it, which seeing as the sequel is an all-out monster flick from the start leads me to believe it'll kill 90 minutes painlessly enough.

I'm going to jump to the defence of The Matrix Reloaded here. The more I think about it the more meaningful and entertaining it becomes. It's full of symbolism and is - as many reviewers said (which I now finally understand) - a movie all about questions and negates the need for Revolutions in november.

Of course I only saw Reloaded once in April, so my understanding needs further exploration upon the DVD release (which i think is late october).

Well I've just read a comment on AintItCool from an american woman who loved the 1st Jeepers, saying that the sequel was pants. Well I thought the 1st one was rubbish so it doesn't bode well for number two. . .

As far as Jeepers Creepers goes, I for one thought it was great ... suggestively gruesome in places, quite creepy throughout.

Jeepers Creepers 2 looks like (& I've only seen the ads, so far) being to Jeepers Creepers 1 what Aliens was to Alien - lots of action & fireworks, more like a war film than a horror. I'll be off to see it soon.

I liked jeepers creepers until you seen the demon. Then it was just one long buffy show.

Totally agreed!! After the monster was reveiled the rest of the movie seemed rushed with more of a comedy than a horror feeling to it.
Will still give the sequel the benefit of the doubt though!

    Not at all.
In fact, if you get the R1 disc he's on the opening menu screen (don't know if the R2 is the same but I'd assume it is).

Jeepers Creepers is great. Liked it. No. 2 looks like a watch to me.
Even though I know all about it, I'll probably still cry like a baby with covered eyes.

    How about a story!!!There is'nt one!!
Not a patch on the original because the first had originality in parts
2/5 (must have been the cheapest film to make considering it is shot on mainly one location?)

Went to see this last night (dragged by a mate) and it got more laughs than American Pie : The Wedding. Says it all IMO.

I watched the sequel on friday after a 14 hour shift at work and again thought it was good to start with and due to being asleep half way through the movie i thought (m.o) that the entertainment level seemed to drop the second half....
Not a good / fair review as being really tired before i even stepped into the cinema doesnt help matters...Overall if you liked the first movie youl like the second.....On fri night jeepers creepers 1 was on sky movies @2200ish so we watched that first then went to the 0035 viewing to watch the sequel!!
I'd recommend this as the sequel answered questions from the prequel that were left unsolved..
I'l be going Earlier next time for sure..
