    any one have a demo of this,i think its released friday?i cant wait.

    Yep, played the demo, and it feels good. The lightsabre fights seem to have a lot less of the "pot luck" feel of the original and are much more rewarding. The graphics look alright. Not as good as, say, No One Lives Forever 2 but certainly better than Outcast. Sound is a dissapointment in the demo, EAX not working well at all.
    I must say, though, that on an 1800+ XP, 512MB and geforce4 4200, the game slows dows quite a bit. Especially in first person mode using a sniper type gun. I don't think I am getting more than 40fps at the moment.

    The game runs at a steady 80fps for me.
    Not much graphical improvement on Jedi Knight 2 for me either.
    I have an Athalon 2700+, 512mb 400mHz ddr ram, ati radeon 9700.

    Jedi Acadamy FPS performance can be greatly increased by disabling the "Dynamic Glow" in the options.
