I watched the jaws region 2 dvd last night and was totaly blown away by it.I have not seen the movie for about 10 years and it is still excellent, puts deep blue sea to shame, the dvd transfer was excellent too and the dd5.1 sound aswell,my advice if you hav'nt allready, go buy it.

I've got the DTS version - and it's fantastic!! DTS is amazing. It's the first one I've bought and you really notice the compression on DD. I've got Deep Blue Sea (not much of a comparison!) and the splashes of water in DD are less ....splashy!. DTS is far and away better. Sharper, crystal clear and boomy when it needs to be. Shame R2 doesn't have it yet. But DD is great too!!

Yes i really like DTS too.

Lots of people recommend Saving Private Ryan but if u wanna go for a good sound DVD then try the following

The Eagles when hell freezes over, this sounds fantastic, kinda makes hairs stand up on back of neck.

Daylight is very good, lots of subtle effects.

Out Of Sight, is a top film sounding better than ever
