Are there any other sites that you can buy foreign HD-DVDs from?

Are there any decent HD-DVDs in Japan atm? Or are the US ones the only option?

cdjapan gives you a discount for creating an account so it makes the price of your first purchase just a little cheaper than Amazon or Yesasia. Not a lot, something like 500Yen (£2.25).

I am tempted but need to know, does it have English subtitles as my wife is hard of hearing and they are important to her.

Anyone know what prices are like in Japan? I'm going there in a month's time and was wondering if it was worth buying a player & discs out there? Would it be any cheaper?

Wow, those Jp HD DVDs are pretty expensive! over 4000 yen, thats about $40!

No one in the US would pay that kind of money for a disk, otherwise they would simply stick to DVDs.

Why do we always get so badly riped off in the EU and Jp?
