Top selling game was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle: Ring of Fate DS. 360 sales hit all-time low.

    And here's a chart as well because I'm a big nerd ;)

Nintendo must have money coming out their ears! Hopefully they'll be investing some of it in a hi-def version of the Wii. Wii controller plus PS3 graphics power would make for an amazing console.

It'll need a bit more grunt under the bonnet to get 'ps3 graphical power'!

    That's what I meant. A new version (Wii 2) with PS3 power.

Or alternatively PS4 with motion sensitive controller (bound to happen anyway)

Microsoft trying to sell videogames to the Japanese is like Pizza Hut trying to sell pizzas to the Italians or Wimpy trying to sell burgers to the Americans ;)

Not really, if you go to Japan you will huge amounts of western fashion, music, movies, chains, loan-words and customs. A more likely reason for poor 360 sales is low hardware quality and a game selection heavily populated with first person shooters, an unpopular genre for Japanese gamers.

It is true that the Japanese love some sapects of western culture, but not when it comes to videogames. In Japan games get made that would never see the light of day over here (Yoshinoya anyone!!)

These games will never get made by western developers, and so you will not see them on western consoles. Until you get Japanese developers fully on board then Japanese consoles willl always outsell western consoles in Japan.

To be fair though, those sales figures should be taken with a pinch of salt - I bet 250K of those xbox 360 sales are people buying 'another' 360 after they suffered the 'Red ring of death' problem.

    :rotfl:

    Only joking of course......:suicide:
