I recently bought the entire buy one get one free james bond collection apart from the living daylights of course:zonked:
Anyway i also noticed that all of the old bond fims say 1.0 mono on the back of the box but they decode at 2.0? Is this right?
and everything else 5.1 i think apart from the man with the golden gun, this is suppose to be 5.1 but it decodes at 2.0? WHY IS THIS? and does anyone else have these problems?
oh yeah my receiver is the SONY STR-DB1080
    thx

I've looked in profiler at the back cover of my R1 copy but cant see the audio options. I can see the DD logo tho.

Just cos its say Dolby Digital doesn't mean its 5.1,you can still get Dolby Digital Mono!!

profiler say 2.0 so the box must be wrong.

More often than not the lazy so-and-so's will take the theatrical poster and use that as the dvd cover without changing anything.

sometimes you'll get options that are only available in cinemas printed on the case

Pretty sure the mono ones are DD2.0 mono.
Your receiver isn't going to differentiate between 2.0 mono and 2.0 stereo
