I got my copy back in Nov '04 for £85 when choices had exclusive web rights. At the time hmv were selling it instore.

I think play are the only guys currently selling it on the web and therefore £99 is a bargain if you want it. (£5 per film with a booklet in a nice tin - hope play don't dent it) :smashin:

i paid £160 from play for it when it came out (that was 19 films and a die another day sampler. was a bit annoyed when i say it in hmv in the xmas sales when a £20 off £100 voucher would have got it half price, plus with DAD

i thought there was supposed to be an updated boxset coming out, with "film reels" or something holding the discs. i thought i saw pix of it a couple of years ago, it looked pretty expensive, like the japanese boxsets

    Unique,
I can imagine your dissapointment. I'm sure I'd feel the very same way. Not normally the sort of set I'd buy on cost grounds alone.... but when HMV had a mad price on this 1 day .... think it lasted just about 1 evening I decided to grab it.... £64.xx :D

Maybe this one did say Brook Bond instead ;)
