anyone else picked this box up. I thought it would be nice to have the Special Editions with DTS (except for SOAF - why not we have to ask) but I'm half way through Patriot Games and have to say the DTS seems almost non-existent, infact the sound altogether seems to be the same as the Reg 2 DD version I have..

Got mine the other day, but have only played Red October so far. The sound is what you have to expect from old soundtracks. They can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear! My main problem was that the dialogue is so much quieter than the music and action sequences. Had to keep turning amp up and down. The DTS track is louder than the DD, but that's about it as far as I could tell. :(

I agree totally with those two reviews, especially the part about Collector's Edition status in Patriot Games. The same can be said for CAPD. However, the box set is under £30 from DVD Soon, and does include a new film, Sum Of All Fears, so for four reasonably worthwhile films, I don't think that's bad. Yer gets what yer pays for.
