Hello again big screen peeps, Im not moaning anymore. The Plasma has gone and the Infocus X1 is now sitting pretty.
I was destroyed by rainbows but I gave that little X1 a chance and bugger me, £20 spent on a polarizing filter has transformed the cute lil p'j!!!!

I can now do 5 hours straight on the screen without a eye/acid/zippy/bungle/jeffrey/dodgybloke situation. The X1 killed me after 15 minutes before.

Perhaps it is just my eyes but that polarizing filter is the difference between no X1 and a happy X1 owner. Hurrah!

Ignore the sig - Ive found a telly I like... and its bloody huge! :):):)

    Glen <------ happy X1 owner.

Yep, definitely need to know about the lens if you could share the information, as I am thinking about buying one this weekend!

Got ya email, it is just a standard polarizing filter, i will measure it later - just of to the pub now and let you know, ill also post up the Jessops Part Number for ya.

Makes ohhh so much difference... this week Ive done
    Godfather part 1
Trainspotting Spec Ed and all extras and
    The Usual Suspects
on it - GLORIOUS and aint I the lucky one - been saving The Usual Suspects and Godfather for the right screen; never seen em before.

    Sorted ;)

Cheers mate for the info, just one more request.

I am in Hampshire, are you - a) willing and b) close enough - to let me come and have a look?!?

e-mail or PM if you can give me details.

Much appreciate it if it is possible, as no-one seems to be able to let me get to view one - don't they want my money?

    Cheers,

    Coop

    Hi Senna
whats the part number for the filter you are using? Have been to Jessops web site but theres quite a few there, and does it just screw onto the front of the lens?

    Thanks

    Hi Barney,

It is a standard 62mm polarizing filter and it clicks into place on the X1 with no problems. Made all the difference for me personally.

CooperUK, I am on the Isle of Wight and am happy to let you see the screen. Perhaps you would like to call me at on 0******** and we can work something out.

    Glen
