    OK I've got this sub (detailed specs);

    SB-1 Specifaction Sheet from JBL.com

    I've currently got one of the two sub pre-outs from my Sony 940 5.1 amp going to another sony amp (TAFE230) powering the sub. It sounds pucka !

    The sub seems to have some serious power handlnig (300W) so I was wondering what I could do to upgrade the amplification, but I've just though that as I'm using a stereo amplifier I'm probably pumping 2 x55W into it bu it's an 8 ohm amp and a 4 ohm sub.

    I guess what i need is a 150W x 2 4ohm stereo amp?

    Something like this (160quid).... just what i'm after?

    Also does it being stereo make any difference to anyone?

    fit's lovely under the sofa though :clap:
