Ok!
I've done it!
Edited the film which I shot on my holiday to NZ.
It's all been done now.
And I used Windows Movie Maker 2.

My next steps are:
1. Add chapters
2. Make a nice DVD menu (perhaps with a background created in Photoshop)

How do I do this?
What software would you recommend a complete beginner to use?
Movie Maker 2 is extremely easy to use, and I'm pretty satisfied. Any other kinds of software for creating the DVD, which is as easy?

Is there any things I should be aware of, before I burn my very very very first DVD.

I would highly recommend Ulead DVD Moviefactory. It is very easy, does all you require and does not cost the earth.
MF3 has just been released and costs about £30 as a download or you might be able to get a good price on the old MF2.

Have a look at www.ulead.co.uk for full details and a free 30 day demo download or even buy and download the full product.

Mark.
