but i really want to purchase a 5 year Guarantee with it aswell, can anyone try and help me find one, all i can find is tv with table stand i cant find one with 5 year guarantee aswell

Have you managed to find one in stock at Currys or Dixons at this price?

I'm aiming to buy the TH37PX70 as well but via John Lewis to get the free 5 year warranty. JL will price match (see other thread on that) providing the other retailer has them in stock.

One observation though; JL seem to sell the set without the pedestal so you might need to find that elsewhere and price match against the version without the pedestal.

Don`t buy from currys, the aftercare leaves a lot to be desired and i know numerous people that have problems with them, one person i know is taking them to court. Buy from John Lewis and get the piece of mind with a 5 year warranty and great aftercare.
