Just followed the YouTube guide and have to say it was as easy as you get! What are the other channels on there that you can select? Are they HD aswell or just SD? Is there anything interesting on them?

I did what the video above showed but the channels i found did not include ITV. Just the following:
BRIT SHORTS
RADIO SHEPHARD
RADIO RABBI
MY BEST RADIO
HINRG LOWNRG
WELL CLASS
GROOOVE

So why is that? How do i get ITV HD?

hi just had hd put in today but my epg is still the old style,does this mean i have been given a used or old box???? or can i update its firmware myself ..

Only channels on the EPG can be planned and recorded. So, unless/until ITV HD is added by Sky to the EPG lineup, the answer is 'not possible'.

Thanks. I kinda guessed that, but was hoping that some knowledgable person on here may have found a workaround!

So one just has to be around at the time of broadcast to watch ITV HD on champions league nights for example?

ITV HD 10510 channell is it regional?cause during breaks the adverts are mostly for shopping malls up north.Just wondering if there is another code for South East.

Currently regardless of where you are, ITV HD is broadcast with adverts for the Granada region only. Shouldn't really be a problem for you though as there are no regional programmes in HD.

We found this too. We actually called the Sky installer back it was so poor! The solution:

Fit your SCART cable back between the box and TV. Select SCART RGB in the setup and watch SD channels on your SCART channel. Its a pain, but the Sky HD boxes seem to be pants at upscaling, well the Amstrad ones are anyway!
