ITV4 HD

A bit of an odd ball post for my first one here...

I am wondering how I can go about recording ITV4 in HD and then transfer (or record direct?) to a Windows PC...

Literally I only watch and record the BTCC (Touring Car Racing) from TV these days and I really can't be bothered with anything else...

What are my options?

Is there much point shelling out for something like Sky just to get one channel...?

I am in temporary accomodation at the moment - so I can't modify what I have access to here... But I do have access to another place with a standard sat dish and freeview aerial if that helps any?

how about a tv tuner card in the PC? Could then record it direct to the disk of the PC?

That would be fine - I grab the SD feed this way from freeview...

Just trying to get my head around ITV4 in HD - from my research I believe its encrypted?
Although I have come accross some odd ITV4 HD recordings that seem to be without encryption??

Good call. I forgot the hd version isnt on freeview/sat

Ah... no way around paying a subscription then... wich is fine - so cheapest option for sky with ITV HD?
