I just got a text message of my mate saying that all the ITV Digital Pay-Per-View channels went off at 10PM last night, and not come back on.

Not seen any other mention of this, so was wondering if anyone else knew of this (I dont have ITVD so there!)

The PPV is managed by a different company to ITV Digital, this company has pulled PPV due to the sale of ITV Digital.

It is possible the restructured ITV Digital may be bought by Granada & Carlton

so is it official, that the ITV Digital pay per view channels were switched off last night so nobody can receive them? I don't suppose there's any chance of being able to watch the divison one play-off's this week then?

    PPV still working.

Re : Div 1/2/3 play off finals (source : The Guardian)

ITV have stated that if itvD is off-air by then (highly likely) they will show them on ITV2 as FTA channels are unaffected. They had already planned to show the Div 1 final on ITV1 anyway.

The big bummer will be missing Man U -v- Arsenal next Wednesday, as the Sky PPV channels will most probably go tonight
