Itunes Software Update

After downloading latest Itunes & Ipod software I can no longer import CD's to my PC? Am prompted to either Import, Play or Show tunes using iTunes but none of these work. Backed out software on iTunes and it was ok but no longer compatinble with the ipod! guess what I had to do then! Does anyone know a fix?

What version of iTunes are you on ? I'm on 4.7.1.30 and I don't have any problems.

How do I check?

When in iTunes click on help at the top, then click on the About iTunes menu option and it will tell you what version you are on (it will scroll up)

Same version how odd, could it relate to CD Drivers?

It might be worth checking the Ipod Forums - there may be someone with the same problem there.
