    Hi Guys

My iTunes has recently started the following problem. All albums I burn to iTunes are listed as compilations and don’t record the first song. It’s a PITA when using my iPod as I can’t find my new albums or get the album art from iTunes.

Anyone know what could be causing this???
    Cheers

    Nope

Bought the Chemical Brothers album from the supermarket the other day and its saved it as a compilation. Can't get it to download the art work either.

Is there an option in iTunes which can remove the compilation function?

Yes ... select the tracks and do cmd-I and uncheck the 'compilation' button ...

Are you sure the iTunes store knows about this album? Has got the art work? And the album is entered correctly?

Did it get the track details OK from CDDB ? ... sometimes if there is a problem with the name - an odd space or different track listing then iTunes thinks its a different album and doesn't sync ... wish Apple would put a feature in that allows you to select the album in the store and download the artwork for it ...

Did unchecking the compilation box work ?

It has got to be the combination of Album name, Album Artist and/or Artis of the particular song....As jont says a single spelling mistake is enough to not do it, or a feat. artist or a ltd edition...Really double check the names and the spelling....
