Itunes Partitions??

Having just posted another thread, it now seems I need to reload alot of my CD's as lossless files.
I would like to upload them and place them in a different part of iTunes so that I know if I am accessing the lossless files in one part of itunes or the "normal" music files on the other part. Normally when you upload to itunes (or at least when I do all the music files end up in one massive list and getting two files of each song (one normal one lossless).
That way I can then make lossless playlists without having to trawl through all my itunes files, having to decide if the song is normal or lossless?

the easiest way i can think of would be to create 2 librarys, one for lossy and one for lossless.

alternatively if you wanted to keep them in one library then you could just create 2 smart playlists one for each type of file.

Okay... here's how I do it. Just make sure the properties (RH click/get ino) of the album/songs are slightly different for the different versions and iTunes will create a separate album. Change the artwork and it can even look professional:
