Original football idea I thought about going with, looking at round things in the plural sense, but decided the image didnt really have much going on in it/quite empty

Saw this on Flickr - not shot by me or anyone I know - was just checking our a thread full of Sigma 10-20mm photos... A good fit for this month's theme though, it is a sculpture at Jardins Palais Royal in Paris.

Your coat is on the peg nearest the door BJ:laugh:

Seriousely though, if you had of gone there this month and took a photo of this with the comp in mind it would have made a top entry

Oh i just could not resist putting a silly one in somewhere this month, was playing around with this idea last week, not the finished article.

Ita a 72mm colour filter and the round pebbles was a place setting at a sit down meal at celebration in Norway a couple of years ago, the hosts actually made about 30 of these little stone figures, each with guests name on and they collected all the stones and shells from the end of a fiord and they made them look like each person, one guy there had a huge beer belly and they made his with a huge stone which looked just like his belly:laugh:

I was considering using this one, and having the eye as the round thing :rotfl:

But I ended up choosing my entry because it was a less obvious slant on the theme.

This was my original idea for the, being as the London Olympics seems quite topical.
The set of 72mm filters i have had for years in a russian photosniper outfit.
The good news as they als fit my recentl purchased sigma 17-70 lens

Here are the other round key entries that I could have picked from.

The first one, the depth of field was a little too shallow I think.
The second one, the actual key is not in focus but there is a funky reflection of the clouds.

Enjoy.

Two more might have beens....

Round Bushes

A Big Round Hole

Now all I need to do is actually find some time and take one for the comp itself
