Ive about €2000 to spend on a plasma and have been looking and looking... I was over looking at a "Pany" TH42PW5B last night, just wanted to see a plasma setup properly etc. as there's very few places over here that set them up in the shops so its hard to tell how good they are....

Anyways, the guy that owns it was tellin me about the deal in Richer Sounds, a Panasonic TH42PW6B for €1900... Was just on to the guy with the TH42PW5B and for about €2000 I can get his plasma + speakers + tv tuner + rgb scart to svideo converter and wall mounting brackets.

Which is the better deal.... Im new to this and i know the PW6 is V.good as is the PW7.. What do u guys think about the 5, its in perfect nick and has been really well looked after. HELP>>>

I think the warranty is up in June/July.... THe PW6 would be great if it wasn't for the fact i'd have spend allot more to get it up n running. I could always just spend the cash on a Sony CRT n have a spankingly good pic but i don't have the space for one....

Not quite a review but if you want more info then you can download the user manuals for the PW5 in PDF format from Panasonics UK customer support site.

Cheers lads.... Just reading through the manual for it now. The big decision is do i go for the PW5 or the PW6....

I know he's offering the plasma + speakers + tv tuner + rgb scart to svideo converter and wall mounting brackets but i figure with a media center PC with a Nvidia 6600gt with vivo I wouldn't need the tv tuner + rgb scart to svideo convertor r spkrs... All i'd need is a PW6 and a wall mounting bracket n just hook it up to the PC. Would i be right in thinking this and do you think it'd be a better system???
