So after scanning pages and pages of the forums I have decided to get the Epson EMP TW10, But before I splash the cash out is there anything that you guys could warn me on.

Its gonna be used for DVDs and thats all
Any one who has got one feel free to big it up as it will help my confidence LOL

I think Ebuyer is cheapest but if not let us know where to shop.

    Cheers Darko

TW10 is a useful PJ by all accounts. Not heard much noise about it, over and above what you'd expect for a PJ. Make sure you adhere to the filter cleaning regime.

I presume you've checked out the Benq 5120 before making your decision?

Bought a TV from ebuyer recently, very good price and arrived speedily.

    Happy projecting!...PJ :)

I personally would give the 5120 a try. But I'd be more keen to audition it beforehand to make sure it made comfortable viewing.
Either machine will do you proud I'm sure. If you've seen the TW10 and are happy with it then go with it...PJ

Yeah it does look good and I think I may try and find somewhere to to try it out, the reviews are good for it but its so hard to find a PJ in this price bracket as there are so many and also alot of pros and cons.....

If you think it's a difficult choice at around £600, it's twice as difficult at around £1K!

Bought the TW10 3 days ago!

Dabs are selling for £548 inc vat: click here

It does have a few failings:

In scenes where there is not much contrast the blacks can be pretty grey.
Would be nice it the pixels were'nt quite so obvious. You can make the screen smaller to help a bit.

I'm being very picky as overall it is very good value.

I would love to see the 5120 in action just to see any differences and to see if the rainbows were an issue.

As HiDef capability and optical lens shift aren't considerations in this instance, and the prices are very comparable, DLP should be a compelling case...PJ :)

its a great pj with a great warranty. you wont be disappointed. My advice tho dont go through ebuyer, they have ZERO support, when things go well with them fine, when they screw it up then....good luck!!

buy from dabs or someone like premier presentation who will match the prices of anywhere and are only a phone call away. (i got a free head massager with mine too!!!)
