It takes several times pressing the "stop" button on the remote for it to work

Hi. Does anyone else have this experience? It takes several times pressing the stop button on the remote for it to work. Where exactly should I aim the remote for it to work immediately? "Open" works okay, I don't know, any suggestions or comments?

CD192. The batteries are fresh. Also, it wouldn't play the SACD 30th anniversary Pink Floyd DSOTM. Anyone else have this experience?

Sounds like there is a fault somewhere in the machine. I can't really suggest anyhting other than taking it back to your dealer who can arrange for it to be repaired by Arcam.
