Having just purchased an Iscan Pro from a fellow forum member, and well pleased with that. I am after some advice on what the best way to connect it to my projector which is a Seleco 400HT. I don't know whether it is VGA or the other options.

Which will give me the best picture ?

    Cheers

I used to own a 400 and I also used an iscan Pro. The best way to connect the two is to use as a 15 pin D ring to 5 BNC break-out cable to your 400. For best results use a component video cable to the iscan from your dvd player.

You will notice a big improvement with the iscan over the internal up-convertor in the Seleco.

    All the best!

There's an Iscan Pro on the classifieds, and I'm buckling...

How much should I budget for a decent breakout cable? And any pointers as to where I could get one from? I'd be looking at 10M.

I've seen Keene do a 15pin VGA to 3 BNC, presumably my Seleco 400 won't be able to take the sync from green?

    TIA

    Andy

You will need a 15pin to 5 BNC for your 400. Have a look at the accessories page at www.crtprojectors.co.uk
They stock what your looking for.
