I've just got a quick question, I already own a PS4 and love it but am toying with the idea of buying an Xbox One, do you guys who own it think it's worth it if I already have a PS4?

Also what is this judder like with the tv pass through is it really noticeable?

    Any help is appreciated

It is worth buying if there are games you want to play on it. If not then I'd wait.

Agree with this, it has some great features different to PS4 but if it does not have the games you want then best holding off.
I want a PS4 and will get one but at the moment the only games that would interest me are BF4 which I already have and Warframe which I believe is coming to X1 anyways.
When PS4 has the games then I will jump right in.

Thanks fellas, I like the look of Ryse and Dead Rising.

How bad is the judder on the tv pass through?

I've just finished outlast, I highly recommend that game if you get a PS4, by far the scariest game I've ever played.

I was in the same situation as you!
Got a PS4 on launch day, but have been tempted by dead rising, Ryse & Forza 5 So on last saturday ordered a "Day One Edition" Xbox one from GAMES web site!

I've had it for a week and love it!

Watching Sky through it, I cant notice the "judder" problem at all?! I know & fully understand why it happens, as I have problems with some R1 DVD's ripped and juddering, but was pleasantly surprised to not see any problems with the TV pass through at all!?

If it's any help to you, I can record some footage off screen tonight and upload it so you can see for yourself?

If you plan on getting Titanfall then I'd say get one. If not, then I'd say wait till there are more exclusives unless you want all the media capabilities of the XB1. But don't forget you'll need to pay however much for Live which will let you access the things you already pay for ;)

Not being cheeky, but what are "all the media capabilities" of the XB1 ? Can't plugin an external hard drive, can't use DLNA, can't play 3D blu-ray, 50Hz TV signal on HDMI in is jerky, can't keep 24p audio in sync, no dolby digital over optical, 'record that' game footage very average quality.

The 24hz audio-sync bug has been fixed just so you know.

I'm going the different route, sod being sensible....if you've got the money and it won't make you hard up for too long, get it. Always nice to have the best of both worlds.

    Without a doubt yes!

I own both and if I could only keep one right now it would be the Xbox.

If you like FPS games at all then with the rave reviews The TitanFall beta is getting I'd say it's a definite yes, the XBox is well worth picking up.

I've only just found this out after trying to watch a film from a USB drive.
It's unbelievable that they market this as an "All in one" media device yet it lacks some of the basic features of the old 360.

    I'm seriously unimpressed with it.

Yeah, it's not there yet. They really shouldn't have even mentioned the media abilities as it hasn't got any. I'm sticking with my WD TV Live for media. Titanfall on the other hand plays far better on the 'Bone ;-)

I was all PS4 from the get go and got one at launch night at GAME and dismissed the Xbox as the inferior machine, as this was the general theme in the press.

I buckled just after Xmas and got an XB1 just after Xmas. So glad I did as its my fav console now, I love Forza, DR and Peggle and just got Ryse on the classifieds here. To top it off the Titanfall beta was excellent, can't wait to pick it up.

I only play BF4 on the PS4 and nothing else, maybe KZ every now again.

As mentioned above the console of choice is driven mainly by the software available, IMO the XB1 wins hands down, at the moment. I can't see any evidence of the XB being an inferior machine at all.

So glad I picked one up and so glad I have both.
