I ask this because I was at a friends house recently who had a dvd playing on his Toshiba crt tv and when he stopped the movie and the screen was blank, I saw what was very obviously VB!
His brightness settings are somewhat higher than I am used to but it got me thinking, that there must be some other explanation.
Incompatible gamma settings between deck and display perhaps?
I dont presume to know much about these things but there they were, on a tv!!

Which is very encouraging to those of us who were holding out for the AE700.
I was just wondering if by just slightly adjusting the gamma up on one, and down on the other, you might be able to slip it out of the image altogether.
    Just a thought...
Glad you're happy with the PJ Phillfyspoon, had us worried for a short while there.
Should be getting mine in couple of weeks

press display on remote twice and there is some picture settings near the bottom. Like picture mode, noise reduction etc
