I've only heard lots of good things about them. If you do a few searches, you will probably find quite a few very positive posts.

Type 'hivizone bad reputation' into any search engine and view the results. Then type 'hivizone good reputation' and see the difference. All I have found is one complaint and it was for something realy paltry. I'm gonna get the panny 1000 for way less than half it's cost over here. Chang the man who runs it seems really cool.

Not yet, the bank ballsed my funding situation up so the money I expected to be in my account wasn't there on time. As soon as it is I'll be paying by wire tranfer.I'll let you know how I get on.

also make sure you check out the warranty situation. The Panny doesnt have one but some of them have international warranty.

Now this may be a really daft question, who did you use for the wire transfer, Moneybookers or just your local branch. Never wired cash before and a bit of insight may help a lot.

Looking forward to hear your experiences with Hivizone.

    Thanks

Just go to your local bank and they will do it there and then. You need a copy of the bank account details of where the money is being sent so at least you know exactly where it is going should things go wrong. Apparently it takes a few days to clear and I'm hoping thats why I have yet to recieve a conformation mail saying 'thanks ,your projectors on it's way !' If you're thinking of ordering one I'd wait to see if mine actually arrives, Hivizone looks legit to me !!!

i thought they got a tiny percentage, otherwise how do they run a business?

What does it cost to send money?
    1% (up to € 0.50) per Transfer

    wiki;
Moneybookers is an e-commerce business that allows payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. It serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders. Moneybookers performs payment processing for websites, online auction sites, and other corporate users, for which it charges a fee. Moneybookers is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gatcombe Park Ventures Limited and their corporate headquarters are in London, UK.

    ....

Regarding projector delivery for anyone who has order from Hivizone,

    - how long does it take

    - do you get any advance notice when its going to be delivered to your door?

    - What kind of box does it come in, original with images/logos, or in a plain box?

    ..

much better to pay 40p than £20.

    and again moneybookers is instant.

i transferred my payment whilst i was waiting to catch the underground to where hivizone had their office.

hivizone are legitimate. their customer service is second to none. they have built their reputation up by having such a good reputation.

If I ordered a projector from Hong Kong, would it work out of the box in the UK? Do you need to buy any special adaptors or anything?

Also, whats the shipping like from them to the UK on projectors?
