Oooh... Not 4k though.

My PC, sporting a 1080, manages a 2.2 supersample for everything. Not sure it would manage 3.4.
 
But if you have a 4K screen you don't need such high SS.

I'm buying into 4K day one. I actually don't mind 110 FOV on the Vive so happy to see all those extra pixels going into higher ppi.

Let's pray we don't have to wait 2 years to buy such a device. Can't Come quick enough.
 
@Atmos I wouldn't supersample a 4k screen (though I might). A 3.4 supersample of our current screens would be equivalent to these screens.

Not per eye, no. But in total it's about 4K. I'd be happy just upscaling and getting the reduced SDE with those screens. Would be even nicer if it was a true RGB panel, but I suspect it's probably a fuzzy-looking pentile one.
