    Hi Guys,

A quick question...I have the sony1200ESB amplifier... I need a sub for it now...

How do subs connect in general to the amp?

Will this sub be compatile? Pioneer S-W160S-K?

Any sub is compatible with that amp.

Whether it's compatible with your exisitng speakers and/or room size is another matter. Pioneer are not known for their subs. Stick with some of the better known names like REL, BK, SVS and others. Anything but the Pioneer TBH. But much depends on your budget as well. If I was you I'd look to get a S/H unit that is known to be a good performer. The Pioneer is an unknown quantity.
