Well, you can get HD through the component but the lack of DVI/HDMI means it fails to meet the offical HD criteria..

Will it work well with Xbox360.

I've also got a Samsung DVDHD850 with upscales to High Definition.

Will both of these work well with it?

I was also considering purchasing the Sony KDLS23A12U, until I visited my local Sony Centre today and are offering the 26" model for the same price of £999 including an extended warranty of 5 years.
Does anyone know of a better deal?
I've been looking on the Net, and although i can get the TV about £250 cheaper, taking out the extra warranty takes this price up to the £1000 mark.

cheers.

skdcfc: the 26" seems the much better deal if you can get the price match that JohnM8's talking about. It's got HDMI and is definitely HD Ready. Have a dekko at the Sony UK site for full specs.
