Hi folks, This is possibly a stupid question, so please be gentle... I'm about to get BT broadband in and was wondering if this is possible:- Since my PC and XBox are in a room with no phone socket, can I use a regular phone extension lead (about 20 metres) directly from a phone socket into the room with the PC and XBox, attach a microfilter to that and then hook up a modem/router to the microfiter and hook up the PC and XBox to that? I was going to go wireless but for everything it would probably cost around £200 or so, doing it the above way would cut this cost at least in half... I just don't know if it can be done Thanks in advance for any help. Regards, Iain.
