I currently link my DVD Transport to my TV (36" Sony CRT) via SVHS. My Transport does have a PSM (Progressive Scan Module). Can I link the Transport from the Component outputs to a Scart (ie component to Scart) in the back of the TV and get the results?

AFAIK the only TV's that can accept YUV component via scart are some of the Lowe TV's. Besides this, most CRT TV's are not progressive scan compatable anyway.
The TV would need to have a YUV component or RGBHV input to be able to display PS. Scart normally only carries composite, S-Video & RGBs.
