One of my friends wanted to buy a PC mainly for surfing the internet and helping the kids with their school work.
I managed to pursuede them to spend a few hundreds more than they were going to for a PC I consider good value but I am a bit out of touch with PC's so thought I would ask you lot as you know more about them than me.
I got the below for a total of £577.
I went with Komplett because I know they are a good company

I went with this monitor http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=319600&CKS=PCW

I thought I would go for this PC in case her children want to do their homework, play games etc rather than buy a cheap PC like Celeron.

I might upgrade the graphics card from geo force 7300 to 7600.
I was told they want a PC for music, films, internet and help thir kids with their homework.

The Dell also looks a good deal. The only letdown is the graphics card, however you're getting a much better monitor, and its a fair bit cheaper than the PC Next Day model.

Anyway, it sounds like for your needs the graphics doesn't need to be great anyway, so it should be good.

EDIT: Oh, also, the CPU of the Dell is slightly worse than the PC Next Day model, however according to a magazine I read, the difference is minimal.
