Is this PC good value?

One of my friends wanted to buy a PC mainly for surfing the internet and helping the kids with their school work.
I managed to pursuede them to spend a few hundreds more than they were going to for a PC I consider good value but I am a bit out of touch with PC's so thought I would ask you lot as you know more about them than me.
I got the below for a total of £577.
I went with Komplett because I know they are a good company

I went with this monitor http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=319600&CKS=PCW

I thought I would go for this PC in case her children want to do their homework, play games etc rather than buy a cheap PC like Celeron.

Nice, well speced PC. I would try and get a monitor with DVI connection though.

aye, unless you are using a stupidly fast computer with all shiny options up, or doing CAD/design work at a high level, VGA-DVI/HDMI difference is often negligable.....for example i use VGA to my PJ, honestly cant see any difference over the DVI.......altho i'm going to move to DVI soon when i get the DVI/USB connector to update the firmware...lol....but thats also to free up the VGA port for my 360.....heh
