As the title i need a new basic pc for the internet, e-mail, photos - as before the std bits and peices.

I want Vista ( One all the major bugs are ironed out ) this pc has a free vista premium upgrade as PCWorld and seems a good spec and a good price.

I was wondering what feedback you guys woudl have on this one -I dont want to buy a machine i need to build ( not technical enough )

    Let me know

    Cheers

It doesnt say what speed DDR2 its using and im not too sure about the onboard graphics but overall these little Pavillions aren't bad.

They are basically a laptop in a desktop case. Vista is a total hog on your resources, although the cpu on this system is good enough to run vista I personally would want something with a bit more weight behind it. The graphics card might hold you up a bit in vista too.

Good system but not ideal for Vista.

For surfing the Internet, emails and viewing photo's this should be fine.

I wouldn't worry about graphics or the speed of the RAM for the basics you mentioned. If you wanted to start gaming or movies on it, then that's a different story.

not an expert, but what about this at mesh for the same price plus delivery...looking to maybe get one myself!

    alternative?:D

*edit*noticed my suggestion has less ram, but bigger harddrive and i think the pc world has a better graphics card. but worth a look on the mesh website anyway for all in ones, might see something else!

Anyone looking for a good price reasosonable spec PC this one is good and the size makes it an alternative to a laoptop.
