I have a Panny 42PWD6 Plasma which is wall mounted. I need to cable the mains through the brick wall, and there is not that much 'hole space' to do so.

I've worked out that my screen uses just under 1A when on. Is there anything wrong with me using a 0.5mm-squared mains cable (roughly 4mm diameter) rated @ 3 Amps max?

Many many thanks for your help!!

Personally I would check what the mains cable rating is on the supplied lead and duplicate that. The last thing you want is an overheating buried cable.
