Wasn't sure which thread this should go in but as I have an LCD RPTV I thought here was as good as anywhere. We all strive for the best setup we can afford. We tweak the picture for, what seems like, forever. We do the same with the sound. Now here's my question (at last). Why do people do all this tweaking, aiming for perfection, and then tolerate all those coloured LED's 'glaring' at us? You know, the ones on the front of the TV, Freeview box, audio amp etc. First thing I do, with a new bit of kit, is to cover the things with tape.
