    Errrrr, where?

Can you take a closeup photo of the affected area ?

A dead/stuck pixel should be a sharp clear square on the screen at some static point.

Either white, black, red, green or blue all the time.

Does it move with the projector?

Has the pj ever been dropped? I wonder if it's some kind of light spill from somewhere, possibly internal. Does it show up when you have no signal to the pj?

    Gary.

Dead pixels are rectangular. This looks more like a hair or other artifact in the optical path ?

Cheers Gary you got me thinking so I played around and found out that my projector is hitting the very edge of one of my lights on the ceiling and reflecting onto the screen  That could have been a bit embarrasing sending it back :rotfl:

    thanks

    Paul

    It's funny ya know.

During the weekend I invited a couple of mates over for a few drinks and I spotted a possible fault with my projector.

It's like a couple of shadows on the screen in a weird shape.

I took a photo, do you think it may be a fault with my LCD panels? ;)
