Also reviews. Personally I prefer the Canon compact cameras. They tend to have the best image quality. You don't need much over 7 megapixels as the image quality is not any better. Maybe features like image stabilisation, face recognition and some cameras have an optical viewfinder may be important. Not that US Canon IXUS cameras have different names to those in the UK. Maybe IXUS 80 from £142.

My friend has got a Samsung NV8 and he loves it. It is quite easy to use but also has many features. The lcd on the back is also pretty large. I like it so much that i am about to buy the NV10 ( the 10 megapixel version) to go with my 400D. do a very good deal on it, see below:

i know pc world also have a good price for this camera.
