I purchased some DVD-RW discs (TDK RW's from Virgin - five for £6.99). During playback the recording froze and error message popped up informing me the disc is either 'pysically damaged or dirty'. It wasn't dirty, so it must be the disc. I'm assuming it's because it's a cheap and therefore low quality(?).

I've been browsing amazon for dvd-rw discs and came across this one:

    The Disc In Question

Anyone know if it's any good? If not, feel free to recommend one - and where i can purchase!

    Thanks,

    Lee

TDK disks are normally top-quality. What DVD recorder/DVD burner are you using?

I've got a Toshina DR1. On the recording which messed up i did forget to stop it, so it basically kept recording till the disc reached the end of its capacity...could this be why the recording went wrong?

Probably not - the Toshiba DR1 is known to be quite fussy over it's DVD-RW media. As and when you find a brand of them it likes then they should behave as you expect.
