I'm looking to replace my ageing Rotel amp with a slightly more gutsy NAD C352 CT. It's more or less at the height of the price bracket I want to go to at £299. It will be used to power a set of AE Aegis Evo 3's that are bi-wired.

I also require a phono pre-amp so that I can plug in my Project Debut II turntable. I am torn between the NAD PP2 at £50 or the project Phono Box SE at a £109.

Can anyone offer any advice on either of these pre-amps/Amp or suggest alternatives. I'm not looking at silly money, £300 or thereabouts for amp and around £100 for a phono pre-amp. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

    All suggestions and help welcome.
