Hi... bought a refurbished panasonic 58dx750b. Coming from a Plasma I'm not used to this but is this amount of DSE about normal or would you say its particuarly bad? Theres an oval shape to the left thats very noticable when watching football but cannot be seen watching movies or normal TV.

This is the DSE on the Hisense I returned. As you can see it’s far worse than on your tv and the retailer said its and inherent issue with LED TVs and considered normal. It was returned and I’m awaiting a refund.

It was a 50” Hisense N6800. I had 3 delivered in total and all were the same. In the end I cut my losses and paid the extra £70 for a Sony XE70 (7003) from John Lewis and it has no DSE or visible clouding when watching sports. There is a bit of horizontal banding on dark gray backgrounds (anything above 70% gray) but other than dark solid colours it’s not visible, even on these dark screens it’s really hard to pick it up.

I would steer clear of Hisense as they are cutting corners badly with panel quality and the Sony is much better, even out of the box the Sony is a much more natural picture.
