I believe it uses chips etc that are in higher priced progressive scan players. Its to go with my new panny pj as ive been told the picture will be far batter with a progressive scan picture through component leads rather then my current s video connection from my toshiba SD100E...Correct???

Is it better then the new lecson coming out soon with progressive scan for £200.

No one has seen this player yet so no one can comment. I think one person has ordered one but it won't come for a week or two. It certainly has some interestuing bits (Faroudja) but whether it is better is purely down to Engineering and how it has been made / designed etc. Specs may be better than a Tag but I know which i would rather have.;)

Hang fire for a few weeks and there may be some first hand reports coming through.
