I don't think it's bad given that it will cost you £300 new to buy the amp based on current prices. The only thing you need to check is whether the amp will do what you want? it won't carry audio over HDMI for example I get the impression a lot of people have jumped in and bought this, realised it don't do what they wanted and are selling up and looking at amps like the onkyo 605 etc. End of the day if you not to concerned about some of the new lossless audio formats over HDMI it seems a good buy.
