    One of my suppliers is selling a NEC 42" pLASMA 42VP4D (black/silver) 42 XGA for £1,895 + Vat?

    Is this a worth while buy or better to hold out for a panny :thumbsup: ?

    as far as i know, it isnt an XGA display

    as i said, not XGA, only VGA. If it were my money I would prefer to go for the panasonic which is only about £150 more

    now then the question is which model? do you have any thoughts on the 42PWD6? Which terminal boards would give me the better picture?

    I am planning to use this with the denon 3805?

    I have that model, i havent been able to test it properly just yet but brief viewing gives very good impressions. I had £2500 to spend and this was my machine of choice. This seems the top choice until you spend £3k+ at which point the new pioneers challenge as well as the panasonic HD model (Gordon sounded very impressed by this).
