Depends on which front speakers you have - will they match the Paradigm tonally?

Im using some Wharfedale Valdus 500 Floorstanders. I would get the Valdus centre but its to small.

The Para is 60cm wide which I need.

    Thanks

If they don't match tonally you may well find that anyone talking who moves around the screen will change his voice depending on which speaker his voice is coming from.

Not just voices as other sounds will be different from different speakers.

I made that mistake a few years ago. I had a nice pair of floorstanders and bought a large centre cheaply which didn't match at all.

In the end I swapped it with a friend's centre which was much cheaper but a closer match.

Best thing is to borrow them from a shop and try at home. I did this and saved myself a fortune by not buying the so-called matching centre for my floorstanders. Sounded tonally very different - I kept the little Kef 80C which integrated much better, until I replaced all 3 with identical units.

    Cheers,
    Liam

That question is impossible to answer unless you know whether it tonally matches your other speakers. If it cost £20 but didn't match, then you've wasted £20...
