Just spied this on comets clearance website...

so is this a good deal on this....aging DVDR/HDD?

    Panasonic DMR-HS2EBS

only 40Gb I know, but currently only £100.01 and there are 300 of them available.

so my question is, would I be better buying one of these or an E55 to record from sky+?
what features will it be missing compared to the current batch except capacity?

    cheers

Not a lot missing worth shouting about it was a top spec machine, i just replaced mine today with an E95, and only for a bit more capacity, i was and still am well chuffed with the HS2, the 2 things i've ever been well pleased with that i bought was my iQue 3600 sat nav and my HS2.

I see this ended up at 125.01 - does that mean that all 300 went for that price? If all 300 didn't go does it mean it's still possbile to get one for £125.01??

Nobody won, someone at Comet goofed and stated a quantity of
    300 instead of 1  :suicide: .
    So they cancelled the listing.

Ah! - what a c*ck-up! - shame, I'd have happily paid well over the 'final' £125 for at least 1. Already have an HS-2, would love another, especially having paid £800 for mine when they came out!
