Is this a good buy?

Hey all, I am trying to find an affordable subwoofer to connect to PC. I wanted one with a bit of umph and i found this. Is it possible to connect this to a pc? will i have to get an amp? if so how much can i pick up a cheap one for?

It's a passive sub so, yes, you'll need an amp to power it. Usually matched with dj/PA amp and speakers. If you got the right components then sure you could hook up your Pc to it.

Yes, they are fine. I would have thought they'd be ideal for a budding dj on a budget. Just get a minijack to stereo phono lead to connect them to your pc.

They won't be the last word in Hifi quality but then I'm sure you're aware of that.

Do you want a subwoofer or full range speakers?

as you first link ' Ex display 15" ' is a subwoofer and the other link for 'max ibiza sound' are full range speakers..
