    Looks a good price, but I can't find it on the Sony site, so perhaps its a very old, obsolete model??

    Hmmm if it is that old, I worked at Dixons 3 years ago, and the sony dvd system like that was amazing sound. Must say, when I saw that deal myself I thought that was unbelievable. You know with Sony you are going to get great sound, and to pay for something like that and have Sony on it, I don't think you can go wrong.

    Main questions I have are is it easily multi-regioned, and what options does it have for connecting to a TV? For some reason, these units don't tend to offer RGB Scart which is a shame.

    It's a Sony - therefore not able to multiregion out of the box with a simple code. You'd need either a hardware mod chip (about £80+) or the use of an engineer's remote or pronto with the codes in it (you can 'borrow' one of these remotes from certain companies I believe for about £30 - £40).

    If anyone knows how to make Sony MR in an easier way please let me know as I have a similar older all-in-one lying dormant at the moment due to the fact that about 1/3 of my DVDs are not region 2.
