    Hi all,

Our daughter turned on her iPhone this morning to see this:

    [apologies for the blurru photo]

TBH the screen has been dodgy for a while but never that bad.

Basically, is this repairable? Or would it cost so much to repair that you may as well get another one?

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for iPhone cases that really do help to protect the phone rather than just look good?

    Thanks gonzo.

Yes those are cracks and have been there a while - and were livable with.

If we were looking to spend £150+ on a replacement phone, then a repair wouldn't cost that much, right?

I made an edit to post above.
Repair prices can vary depending on where you go, best to shop around. You'll usually find local repairers offering services or at least a recommendation from friends on Facebook.

£60 all in and looks as good as new; they even came to me to fix it :)

And a lot better than the £150+ we were going to spend on a replacement
