I'm looking for a 37" plasma and don't really need a TV so wondered if there was such a thing as a 37" panel?

Yes there is, I was looking at a 37" Hitachi Plasma yesterday in my local Richer Sounds.

Not sure of the model number but it looked very nice.

TH37PWD8. Very nice HD compatible SD panel only plasma, takes the same slot in cards as it's bigger brothers.

You guys, he's asked for a panel!! Confusion adds nothing. Camorra, have H stopped making 37" altogether now? I guess it was never a big seller for them?

When the PHD8 panels are replaced, (no idea when that would be)
Do you think their will be a 37" hd panel.

    Thanks.

We'd all love it if there was one. There is in USA, so maybe.

    Yes true....he asked for a panel ;)

MAW, on FHP's site seems that the 37" is still being produced and H in far east are still selling 37" Plasma. It seems in Europe H turned to LCD for the 37" models, using LG-Philips glass. Guess only until production rolls out from the new IPS Alpha Ltd. LCD factory (joint venture Hitachi-Matsush*ta-Toshiba) in Japan for LCD glass during the summer.

Though I guess the 37" Plasma was never a good seller in Europe....price wasn't attractive either :thumbsdow

    Cheerz

Eh? Might as well get the 42". Any better prices than that as I was trying to save a few quid by getting a smaller one? Bizarre.:(

I've pm'ed Alastair about one. I'm just surprised that:

    1. There aren't more 37" Panels
    2. The price is the same as a 42"
I'd've thought that there would be more demand for smaller screens. But that's market forces for you.
